Alientech has just announced a new update for KESS3 (Truck/Agri Activation), enabling read, write, and clone operations on Bosch EDC17CP52 ECUs installed on Iveco Daily with FPT 2.3 & 3.0 engines, from the 4th to the 5th generation (from 2009 onwards), via OBD, BENCH, and BOOT modes. This is an important step forward that simplifies interventions on popular European light commercial vans (over 3.5 tonnes), optimizing maintenance and repair with shorter processing times and high procedural safety.

With this update, you can operate quickly and safely right in your workshop, choosing the connection that best fits the job: OBD for fast interventions without opening the ECU; BENCH/BOOT for direct access, full read, and cloning when replacing or recovering an ECU. This opens up opportunities to expand your service offering in the commercial vehicle segment, making your workshop more competitive on Iveco Daily models powered by FPT 2.3/3.0 engines from 2009 to the present.
