KESS3 now officially supports the Continental SID212 ECU.
Alientech continues to expand the capabilities of the KESS3 platform with the release of a new protocol for Continental SID212 ECUs.
Widely installed for years across a range of diesel applications, including the Ford 2.0 EcoBlue, the SID212 is one of the most requested ECUs among workshops specialized in calibration and electronic programming.
With this update, Continental SID212 ECUs can now be managed directly in Bench mode using KESS3, allowing technicians to work on the ECU in-house without the need to send it out for unlocking or pre-processing procedures.
This brings clear day-to-day advantages:
- greater operational autonomy
- faster turnaround times
- no additional cost per ECU
Once the ECU is connected in Bench mode, the operator can proceed directly with Virtual Reading and file writing through Alientech Suite.
The protocol is already available for both Master and Slave users with an active KESS3 CAR-LCV Boot & Bench activation and a valid subscription.
