Technical description
Vehicle communication bus B (Diagnosis CAN line) is connected to diagnosis connector for the diagnostic tool.
Description of malfunction
Interruption in CAN communication is detected.
DTC set condition
DTC Detection Condition:
Starter switch ON.
Judgment Criteria:
DCU cannot receive all massage from CAN B (Diagnosis CAN line).
Reset condition
After having restored to the normal conditions.
Pre-inspection work
Check that the battery voltage is in the normal range.
After-inspection work
− Clear all past DTCs.
− Check that no DTC is detected after test drive.
Possible causes
Disconnection of CAN line.
